I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of what I do. Therefore my aim is to always build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with you by working in a professional, transparent and compassionate way. This will hopefully help you feel understood, heard and respected. I am able to draw on a range of evidence based therapeutic interventions, including; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I tend to integrate these approaches in order to meet your individual needs. I believe that you are the expert of your life and your unique experiences and therefore therapy should feel collaborative and flexible.
I am an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of complex trauma including PTSD and depression. I have a range of experience working with survivors of trauma. I have obtained Part 1 of the Certificate of Medical Reporting: the Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules Expert Witness Certificate to evidence my understanding and compliance of the requirements.
